Megyn Kelly takes on ACORN spokesman Scott Levenson

I try to focus more on policy and leave the news to other blogs. But this encounter between Megyn Kelly and ACORN spokesman Scott Levenson on ACORN’s participation in the census is too good to pass up. (H/T Nice Deb)

Megyn Kelly is so awesome! Check out that last look she gives the camera at the end! Wow.

According to Gateway Pundit:

One of Barack Obama’s first big “community organizer” jobs involved ACORN in 1992. Obama also trained ACORN employees. He represented ACORN in court. Obama worked with and protested with ACORN. His campaign donated $800,000 to ACORN this year for voter registration efforts.
And, ACORN even canvassed for Obama this year.

ACORN is the largest radical Leftist group in America today.

Michelle Malkin has related videos of other ACORN activities.

Our whole economic crisis was caused by the democrats forcing the mortgage lenders to make these risky loans to people who could not afford them. And if the lenders didn’t comply with the Community Reinvestment Act, ACORN was right there to sue them into submission.

Thanks for posting this video and pointing it out thru Heritage. I missed this exchange. What a scary guy. She tried hard (and well), and I think he proved what a manipulative Xss he really is. What can WE (the public) do to prevent ACORN’s involvement in the census??
    Thanks,
    Tracy

    • I hate to say this but I think the only thing we can do is to encourage the best people in the House and Senate (see my blogroll for conservatives) to monitor ACORN closely, and then we can popularize it on our blogs and tell our neighbors. The problem is that we are so lazy these days – we should all have read David Freddoso’s book and then argued all day and all night with anyone who would listen before the election. It’s too late now.

I sometimes blog about the feminization of church on this blog. But I lay the majority of the blame for this on the men. I know men who listen to talk radio all day. During the election, they bragged about their gold purchases, firearms and self-sufficiency. And what did they do to help? They watched Family Guy, drank beer, worked in the yard, never read any books, never asked anyone out to lunch, never assessed the views of their co-workers and never debated anyone about anything. Total disengagement!

In addition to that are the evangelical Christian men who voted for Obama! I spoke to some of these people. Their whole life is football, cricket, soccer, hockey and basketball and other sports. They can recite (it seems) entire movie transcripts, TV commericals and popular song lyrics! They go to church, believe that faith is divorced from reason and evidence, and they read fiction about the end of the world. I lend them debates and books on aplogetics – they get returned unused.

My friends and co-workers will tell you that I fought hard to sway them toward McCain/Palin. Some told me that I did sway them. (They are welcome to leave comments to back me up if they like)
