    Concur on Brett.

    Wow. Is this for free?

    • Youtube hasn’t taken it down yet. They take things down that are not free if anyone complains.

        • Companies sometimes don’t complain because they think it will drive DVD sales. For example, as soon as I saw things like Danger Man and Secret Agent and The Saint on Youtube, I went out and bought them all on DVD. Same thing with the color Tintin cartoons. I saw them on Youtube and I’ve got them in my Amazon shopping cart waiting for the price to go to $12 again.

WK: What’s your opinion on the new BBC “Sherlock” series? Part of me dislikes the modern spin they’ve put on it, but the acting is pretty decent.

  4. I’ve got this entire Granada series on DVD. As someone who has seen and heard a lot of Holmes, I must say that this series is THE definitive visual rendition of Holmes. The attention to detail take you right back to the Victorian age. Beautiful, complex, and no real violence or blood and gore.

Holmes is all the more relevant now, especially the first novel, “A Study In Scarlet”, which deals with Mormonism, believe it or not.
