I re-read the book last year and wanted to kick myself when I learned a new edition was coming out. Guess I will have to buy and read it yet again!

How I wish more Christians would realize the things he’s saying here. Most of the time I feel so completely alone. Like a freak, even! I had a very committed Christian tell me that too much learning of things like apologetics isn’t good for you because it’s all head knowledge and not ‘walking with God’ type knowledge. (Paraphrasing, but that was the general idea.)

I can’t even imagine a world where the church could out-think the culture. I know such a thing was true in history, but it’s so far from my life experience that I simply cannot picture it.
